Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist opportunity is available in Yuma, AZ, serving students from PreK through 8th grade. This position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027 (dates subject to change) and involves working onsite with a caseload to be determined.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades PreK-8
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and interventions
- Providing counseling and support services to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Maintaining accurate records and reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for students educational and mental health needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Educator Certification
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience working with a PreK-8 population in school psychology preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively onsite in a school environment
This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week within a supportive school setting. Candidates from outside the area who are open to travel opportunities will be considered.
