Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid CA Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Adaptability and professionalism in culturally diverse schools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design and monitor student interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to inform student support plans
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
  • Promote a safe and supportive school climate
