Job Description

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current licensure and certification as a School Psychologist (in California or eligibility for state credentialing)
  • Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Strong interpersonal, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret a variety of psychological tests and assessments for students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students when needed
  • Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to address academic, social, and behavioral concerns
  • Participate in eligibility meetings, re-evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Promote positive behavior supports and mental health awareness in the school community
