With a large existing department, you'll have ongoing professional support while playing a key role in delivering vital psychological services throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- California educator credential as a licensed School Psychologist (required)
- Experience working in K-12 environments, conducting assessments, and participating in IEP meetings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to build rapport with students, parents, and staff
- Commitment to delivering onsite services; remote work is not available for this role

Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and assist in eligibility determinations for special education services
- Lead and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a vital team member
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral supports as needed
- Work collaboratively within a large psychology department dedicated to student well-being and achievement
- Engage in consultation with teachers, staff, and families to foster positive educational environments
- Document services, maintain records, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and district guidelines
