Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid State Certification or License in School Psychology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of psychological and educational assessments, behavioral interventions, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to identify students needs and strengths
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive strategies for student learning and well-being
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert guidance on student mental health concerns
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Keep accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Engage in professional development and remain current with best practices in the field
