Step into a dynamic contract role supporting young learners as a school psychologist focused on early childhood development. Work full time throughout the school year beginning July 6, 2026, and finishing June 11, 2027. This opportunity covers multiple sites across Salem, South Marion County, and Yamhill County, specializing in services for children from birth through five years old.
Your expertise will help foster strong social-emotional foundations, provide impactful assessments, and build collaborative relationships with both families and educational teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Active Oregon School Psychologist license (OR PSYCH)
- Experience or passion for working with early intervention and early childhood populations (birth5 years)
- Familiarity with comprehensive psychoeducational assessments tailored for young children
- Strong communication and advocacy skills for a diverse client base
- Ability to manage time efficiently while serving multiple sites
- Collaborative approach when working within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assessments, interpret results, and contribute to individualized educational or developmental plans for young children
- Provide consultation and guidance to parents, caregivers, and educational staff
- Support early intervention strategies that promote positive outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to program and ethical standards
- Travel between assigned sites within the region as needed
