Job Description

This position offers a unique opportunity to work as a School Psychologist serving students from elementary through middle school in a travel role based in Saint Paul, MN. The assignment runs from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. The role involves supporting a caseload of approximately 45 to 65 students across two schools, providing a diverse and impactful experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Offering counseling and behavioral interventions to promote student well-being.
  • Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Assisting with crisis intervention and contributing to student safety planning.
  • Managing caseloads at an elementary level (Kindergarten to 5th grade) with 25-35 students, and middle school level (6th to 8th grade) with 20-30 students.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Minnesota School Psychologist license.
  • Experience working with K-8 student populations is preferred.
  • Strong skills in IEP development and behavioral support strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability for a travel assignment serving multiple buildings.
