Position Overview
We are seeking a School Psychologist to support an Early Learning program in the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale area. This is a short-term, 3-day-per-week assignment focusing on early childhood development and foundational academic support. It is an ideal role for a professional who enjoys the evaluation process and working within a collaborative Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for early learners to identify developmental, behavioral, or academic needs.
MTSS Support: Actively participate in the MTSS process, providing data-driven insights to help design and implement effective interventions.
Early Childhood Focus: Work specifically with early learning populations to ensure a smooth transition into their educational journey.
Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and communicate findings clearly to both school teams and families.
Schedule & Duration
Hours: 3 Days per week (approx. 22.5 24 hours).
Timeline: August 31, 2026 December 4, 2026.
Qualifications
Certification: Valid Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) School Psychologist License is required.
Experience: Prior experience with early childhood populations and MTSS protocols is highly preferred.
Skills: Expertise in evaluation tools and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
