Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master's degree in School Psychology (required)
  • Active Minnesota school psychologist license
  • Experience supporting students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
  • Strong skills in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in a school setting
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and crisis-response abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine students strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
  • Consult with teachers, staff, families, and administrators to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students social-emotional and behavioral growth
  • Facilitate positive behavior supports and crisis intervention when necessary
  • Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to create and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Support district-wide mental health initiatives, prevention programs, and staff professional development
  • Maintain thorough, confidential records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
