Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment near Saint Paul, MN. This contract opportunity is for a dedicated School Psychologist to provide expert services for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year, with a start date of August 31, 2026 and an end date of June 4, 2027. You'll work 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse caseload of elementary (K-5th, 25-35 students) and middle school (6th8th, 20-30 students) students across two welcoming school communitiesall within a single supportive district.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license is required
- Experience developing and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong skills in counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis response
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals
- Previous experience with elementary and middle-school-aged students is highly valued
- Passion for providing comprehensive, data-driven psychological services in school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Deliver direct counseling services and behavioral interventions
- Partner with educational teams to support student learning and social-emotional growth
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and help with student safety plans and crisis intervention
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff to promote a healthy learning environment
- Provide support and recommendations through assessments and observations
