Job Description

Enhance the educational experience for elementary students as a School Psychologist supporting a lively school community near Saint George, KS. In this contract position, youll collaborate with educators and families to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth. This is a full-time opportunity, offering 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and will focus on a caseload of elementary-aged students.

Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas School Psychologist License is required
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with elementary-age students preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education processes
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for elementary students
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide direct counseling and support services to students, individually and in groups
  • Consult with parents, teachers, and staff to develop strategies enhancing student achievement and well-being
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help shape educational goals for students
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation
