Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting high school students as a School Psychologist. Located near Saint Charles, IL, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of adolescents and collaborating onsite with dedicated educators.
This assignment spans the 2026-2027 academic year, beginning August 10, 2026, and concluding May 14, 2027. You'll work 35 hours each week, directly engaging with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 high school students, offering them the psychological services and assessments they need to navigate their academic and personal development successfully.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license (IL PSYCH)
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultation skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of current best practices in psychological assessments, interventions, and special education services
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and supporting student well-being
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, observations, and counseling for identified students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans in collaboration with educational staff and parents
- Consult with teachers and administrators to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide documentation and recommendations as required
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for all students
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed

Compensation for this position ranges from $27.00 to $90.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
