Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting high school students for the upcoming academic year! We're seeking a passionate, experienced School Psychologist to join a dynamic educational setting beginning August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027. This contract role offers the chance to make a positive impact, working onsite weekdays from 7:30AM to 3:00PM with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students.

As a valued team member, your expertise will help shape a nurturing environment for student growth, deliver comprehensive psychological assessments, and provide essential guidance to staff and families. Your contributions will be integral in empowering students and promoting their academic and social success.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist license required
  • Previous experience providing psychological services in educational settings, preferably at the high school level
  • Strong background in administering assessments, developing intervention strategies, and consulting with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to being fully onsite throughout the duration of the assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret data to support student learning needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to design and implement effective interventions
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, providing insight on student needs and progress
  • Offer consultation and support to families, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional concerns
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records
