Job Description
Make a meaningful impact supporting high school students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contracted role offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with students, educators, and families within a dedicated school community. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, with onsite hours from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure in Illinois required
- Previous experience working with high school populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all ethical and legal standards
- Comfortable working onsite within a school environment throughout the academic year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, assessments, and consult on individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to design and implement evidence-based interventions supporting academic, behavioral, and socio-emotional growth
- Communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student needs are met
- Maintain all required documentation following state and district guidelines
