Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold a valid Illinois School Psychologist license (IL PSYCH)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) is required
- Proven experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess, counsel, and provide intervention strategies for diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide educational planning
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and behavioral interventions
- Participate in eligibility determination meetings and offer expertise on psychological issues that affect student success
- Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain thorough, confidential records and progress reports
- Serve as an advocate to promote the social-emotional well-being of all students in your caseload
