Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license in West Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)

• Effective communication skills to consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Comfortable participating in IEP/504 meetings and collaborating on intervention plans
• Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students learning and behavioral needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies and supports
• Provide counseling to students, addressing academic, social, and behavioral concerns
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to promote a supportive learning environment
• Assist in the creation and review of IEPs, monitoring progress and ensuring accommodations are met
• Offer crisis intervention, support positive behavior, and consult on classroom management approaches
• Maintain accurate, timely records in alignment with school policies and state regulations
