Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education compliance
- Experience working in a school environment or with children/adolescents preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine students strengths and needs
- Interpret assessment data and provide clear, actionable feedback to staff and parents
- Work with school teams in developing and implementing IEPs, 504 plans, and intervention strategies
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling/behavioral support to students
- Participate in student support meetings, providing expertise in mental health and academic development
- Serve as a resource to faculty and families on best practices for student wellbeing and achievement
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all interactions and documentation
