Job Description

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Previous experience conducting assessments for eligibility, behavioral, and academic concerns in K-12 settings
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and parents
  • Knowledge of best practices for developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) frameworks

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and behavioral evaluations for students referred for special education services
  • Provide written reports and communicate results clearly to interdisciplinary teams and families
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students academic and social-emotional needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop strategies for supporting learners across various environments
  • Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports campus-wide
