Play a key role in supporting students growth and well-being as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract basis. This opportunity focuses on serving a diverse middle school caseload, making a genuine difference in the lives of young learners for the upcoming school year. What Youll Bring:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist credentials
- Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to create and implement evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Your Role:
- Conduct thorough psychological and academic assessments for referred students
- Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state regulations
- Provide direct support and counseling for students with academic or social-emotional needs
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom strategies, accommodations, and best practices
- Engage in parent meetings and presentations to ensure a team approach to student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support compliance and student progress
