Ideal candidates hold the required Minnesota School Psychologist credentials and bring prior experience in educational or related settings. Youll manage a high school caseload, providing critical assessment and consultation services that help shape student success and school programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist certification/license
- Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably with high school students
- Exceptional skills in educational evaluation, testing, and report writing
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong analytic and communication abilities
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret results
- Prepare timely, thorough evaluation reports
- Serve as a valued member of the SAT, contributing to intervention strategies
- Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support individual student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
