Job Description

This flexible contract opportunity spans the full school year and covers assignments across the district, with full-time availability preferred. You'll work with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification required
  • Experience in school-based psychological services preferred
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills
  • Ability to deliver direct counseling and support to students
  • Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and families
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
  • Interpret test results and provide recommendations for interventions and accommodations
  • Deliver individual and group counseling to students across grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to support student success
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Maintain accurate, confidential student records and documentation
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and provide recommendations as needed
  • Engage in district-wide initiatives promoting emotional wellness and academic achievement

Preferred candidates are available for full-time hours, but flexible part-time schedules may be considered. You will work district-wide, interacting with students of varied ages and backgrounds, ensuring your work has a widespread, lasting impact.
