Experience a fulfilling role supporting students growth and well-being in an engaging school environment near Rocklin, CA. This contract opportunity allows you to make a lasting difference, working onsite with a single school and providing expertise across transitional kindergarten through 8th grade. You'll collaborate with educators and families to create positive outcomes, making the most of your skills during a maternity leave assignment from August 4th to October 1st, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist certification in California
- Valid PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) Credential
- Prior experience in school settings, particularly with elementary and middle school students, is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration, assessment, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to a caseload of about 80 TK5th and 68th grade students
- Conduct student assessments and interpret results to help develop appropriate educational plans
- Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Contribute to development and implementation of IEPs and other student support plans
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for effective learning environments
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to district, state, and federal compliance standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as a critical support resource
