Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in School Psychology (required)
- Valid Minnesota School Psychologist license
- Experience working with students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Collaborative approach with staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide intervention planning
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Provide direct counseling and behavioral support to students as needed
- Facilitate crisis intervention and support safe, positive school climates
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to identify strategies for student learning and mental health needs
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and required documentation in a timely manner
