Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Masters, Ed.S., or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field
- Familiarity with educational assessments and behavioral interventions
- Experience collaborating with teachers, counselors, and parents
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff on academic and behavioral concerns
- Facilitate communication between school, home, and outside agencies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams focused on student well-being
