Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Valid School Psychologist certification, with required state licensure for practice
- Background in administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, social/emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Proficient in developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Successful experience consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions for a range of student needs
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine students academic and psychological needs
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to develop and review IEPs
- Provide direct counseling or intervention services to students as needed
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments
- Offer expertise in crisis intervention and contribute to school-wide positive behavioral support initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
