What you'll need to succeed:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure in the state
  • Masters or specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field

  • Strong understanding of best practices in MTSS/RTI frameworks
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  • Administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Consulting with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective strategies and interventions that support students learning and well-being
  • Guiding the implementation and monitoring of behavioral and academic intervention plans
  • Participating in problem-solving teams and collaborating on IEPs, 504 plans, and crisis intervention support
  • Serving as a resource for staff on issues related to mental health, academic progress, and positive behavioral supports
  • Maintaining thorough and timely records of services provided and reports prepared
