Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment near Riverside, CA. The district is moving quickly with interviews set for the week of July 1317, and hiring decisions will be made promptly. This is a part-time opportunity to make a real difference during a maternity leave from August 5 through October 30, with the possibility of extending through December 13.

Leverage your skills by conducting assessments, guiding evaluations, participating in IEPs, and collaborating with educators and families to support students with mild to severe disabilities. Youll work three full days per week (7:30 AM 4:00 PM) across a K-12 caseload.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active California School Psychologist credential required
  • Minimum of five years professional experience as a School Psychologist
  • At least two consecutive years in a school-based setting
  • Solid background in evaluations, psychological assessments, and managing IEP documentation
  • Experience supporting students with a range of disabilities (mildsevere)
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support individualized student needs
  • Provide counseling and consultative services as appropriate
  • Maintain thorough, accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
