Job Description

What were looking for:

  • Active Maryland School Psychologist License
  • Previous experience in school settings (K-12) preferred
  • Strong ability to administer and interpret a range of psychological assessments
  • Skill in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and faculty
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current best practices, ethical standards, and regulations in school psychology

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for students referred for special education or behavioral support
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to design and monitor effective support strategies
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning sessions
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to a safe, inclusive school climate
