Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in a diverse educational setting as a Hybrid School Psychologist, supporting students from kindergarten through high school. This contract role is conveniently structured as a hybrid position, with two days required on-site each week near Rio Rancho, NM for the 2026-2027 academic year. Youll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to assess student needs, develop interventions, and foster a positive learning environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid NM Educator Certification required
  • Experience or comfort supporting K-12 students across various backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to conduct individual and group assessments, develop IEPs, and lead data-driven interventions
  • Familiarity with special education processes and a commitment to helping students achieve their fullest potential

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and support eligibility determinations within hybrid model
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and evidence-based recommendations
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and parents to design and implement individualized interventions
  • Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Support a positive and inclusive school climate through proactive consultation and education
