Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a School Psychologist in the beautiful Lowcountry region. This contract opportunity, located within the thriving communities of Beaufort and Bluffton, is set to begin in August 2026 and continue through June 2027. Youll collaborate onsite with educators and staff to support students emotional, behavioral, and academic growth, serving an engaged and diverse K-12 caseload.

What Were Looking For:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain by start date)
  • Previous experience working with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of assessments, intervention strategies, special education eligibility, and behavioral supports
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Problem-solving mindset, flexibility, and a passion for student advocacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable working onsite for the 2026/2027 academic year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for students in K-12 settings
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate on appropriate interventions
  • Provide direct and consultative support to students, teachers, and families
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and crisis response strategies
  • Work closely with administration and related service providers to foster a supportive school climate
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal requirements
