Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters, Education Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with assessments, counseling, and intervention planning for students
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and adaptability in a diverse educational environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Offer direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Consult with educational staff on best practices to address learning and behavioral challenges
- Maintain accurate records and ensure thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
