This full-time opportunity is for an experienced School Psychologist to support two elementary schools in the Richmond, VA area. The role is contract-based for the current school year (CSY), providing vital psychological services to students and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Responsibilities include conducting psychological testing, participating in eligibility meetings, completing IEP meetings, and assisting with evaluations to support student success. This position is onsite, offering direct interaction with school staff and students across Ashland Elementary and Mechanicsville Elementary schools.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist License for Virginia
- Proven ability to conduct thorough psychological assessments and interpret results
- Experience facilitating eligibility and IEP meetings in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with relevant state and federal regulations related to special education services
Location: Richmond, VA
School Setting: Elementary Schools (Two schools)
Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Contract Duration: Current school year (CSY)
