This full-time School Psychologist position offers the opportunity to support two elementary schools in Richmond, VA, providing essential psychological services to students. The role primarily involves conducting assessments, eligibility meetings, and contributing to IEP meetings, alongside support with evaluations. This onsite position provides a dynamic environment to make a meaningful impact on student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological testing for students
- Facilitate eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Support evaluation processes and contribute to collaborative planning
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and meetings
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia School Psychologist license
- Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and efficiently
Location and Schedule:
- Richmond, VA area
- Full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite presence required
