Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student mental health and educational development in a school setting located in Richmond, TX. This role focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to enhance student learning and well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborating with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing counseling and interventions to support student mental health
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student challenges
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting interventions as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable educational laws and regulations

Desired qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state certification or licensure for School Psychologists
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations within a school environment
