A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support student success within an educational environment in Reynoldsburg, OH. This contract position offers the chance to apply psychological expertise to assess, support, and enhance the academic and social-emotional wellbeing of diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and support to staff on behavioral and emotional interventions
- Assist in crisis intervention and develop prevention strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as appropriate
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure as required by the state
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in school settings
- Knowledge of federal and state education regulations and special education processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations tactfully
