Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification/license as a School Psychologist
  • Familiarity with school-based assessment tools, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies
  • Experience conducting evaluations, developing IEPs, and collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting diverse learners and advocating for student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify student strengths and challenges
  • Interpret test data and collaborate with educators and families to develop appropriate interventions
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing emotional and behavioral issues
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to eligibility determinations, and offer guidance in developing goals
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive school climate and safe learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to all state and federal educational guidelines
