This contract opportunity near Reno, NV is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist ready to collaborate with faculty, administrators, and families within a dynamic school environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in School Psychology (required)
- Valid Nevada school psychologist license
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation data for students across K-12 settings
- Provide individual and group counseling services to support students social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Offer crisis intervention support and assist with behavior management strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
