Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in Oregon, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions for various student needs
  • Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and state education laws
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Proficient in data-driven decision making and documentation
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting equity

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and needs
  • Carry out individual and group counseling to address behavioral and emotional concerns
  • Participate as a vital member of the IEP and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Assist in developing, monitoring, and evaluating individualized education programs
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to recommend interventions and support strategies
  • Facilitate crisis intervention efforts and provide guidance on crisis response protocols
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in accordance with district and state requirements
