Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid and current state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Strong understanding of special education laws and processes
- Experience with psychological and educational assessments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments to evaluate learning, behavior, and emotional needs
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations for educational programming
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
- Support crisis intervention and counseling efforts as needed
- Provide direct and indirect interventions to address academic and social/emotional issues
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
