As a School Psychologist, youll collaborate with dedicated educators and families to evaluate student needs, design effective intervention strategies, and foster a nurturing, inclusive environment. In this onsite, contract role, youll be valued not only for your assessment skills but also for your input in wider school mental health initiativesmoving beyond routine testing to a broader supportive role within school buildings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold (or be eligible to obtain prior to start) a Michigan School Psychologist Certificationopen to out-of-state professionals willing to secure MI licensure.
  • Background in providing psychological support in school settings is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in assessment, intervention planning, and student-centered solutions.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with teachers, administrators, and families.
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team within a multi-building district structure.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.
  • Work closely with staff and families to develop and implement proactive mental health programs.
  • Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams, supporting academic and behavioral outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date student records and collaborate in developing IEPs and 504 plans.
  • Provide direct services in 12 school buildings, as part of a team supporting the entire district.
