Job Description

An opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support K-12 students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels in Rapid City, SD. This contract position offers a chance to work within a dynamic school setting, providing vital psychological services to promote student well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students grades K-12
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services to support student mental health
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Valid South Dakota license as a School Psychologist
  • Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Flexibility in managing caseload across K-12 grade levels
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, staff, and families
  • Experience working in South Dakota schools is preferred but not required
  • Interns currently completing their training under supervision will be considered
