Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Current licensure as a School Psychologist in South Dakota (SD) is required
- Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations in grades K12
- Collaborative spirit, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Open to candidates flexible with varied caseloads
- Experience working within South Dakota schools is highly valued
- Interns nearing completion of their programs are encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K12
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies
- Provide direct and consultative services to help remove barriers to academic and social success
- Offer expertise in behavioral interventions, crisis support, and positive school climate initiatives
