Qualifications & Experience Desired:

  • Current licensure as a School Psychologist in South Dakota (SD) is required
  • Masters Degree or higher in School Psychology or a closely related field
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations in grades K12
  • Collaborative spirit, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Open to candidates flexible with varied caseloads
  • Experience working within South Dakota schools is highly valued
  • Interns nearing completion of their programs are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students in grades K12
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student intervention strategies
  • Provide direct and consultative services to help remove barriers to academic and social success
  • Offer expertise in behavioral interventions, crisis support, and positive school climate initiatives
