Make an impact supporting students educational journeys as a dedicated school psychologist on a contract basis near Rapid City, SD. In this vital role, youll collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to ensure students have access to the resources and support they need for academic and personal growth.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid or eligible state licensure/certification for school psychology
• Previous experience providing psychological services in educational settings is preferred
• Knowledge of assessment tools for learning, behavior, and emotional development
• Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and needs
• Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for interventions and support
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop effective intervention strategies
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct counseling services to students as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, student support teams, and crisis intervention
• Maintain detailed, confidential documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines
