Job Description

The role covers a maternity leave from August 5th through October 30th, with a potential extension through mid-December. Work part-time, three days a week (7:30 AM-4:00 PM), evaluating students and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California School Psychologist credential required
  • Minimum 5 years of school psychologist experience, including at least 2 years of continuous school-based work
  • Demonstrated skill in comprehensive evaluations, assessments, and creating IEPs
  • Experience with a broad range of student needs, from mild to severe disabilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities across students, families, and faculty

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students K-12
  • Collaborate in developing, updating, and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with staff and families to support students academic, social, and emotional well-being
  • Document findings and recommendations clearly in accordance with district and legal protocols
  • Support special education compliance and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
