Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working in school settings, preferably K-12
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
- Ability to create and implement effective intervention plans
- Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Participate in the development of IEPs and 504 plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional issues
- Offer consultative support and intervention strategies for teachers and families
- Serve as an advocate for students well-being and learning needs
- Deliver crisis response and intervention as needed
- Maintain confidential and accurate records in accordance with best practices and legal requirements
