Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist in Racine, WI, providing essential psychological services within an educational setting. This role focuses on supporting students' academic performance, emotional well-being, and behavioral development through comprehensive assessments and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and areas of need
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support students mental health
  • Analyze data and monitor student progress to inform instructional strategies and interventions
  • Assist in school-wide prevention programs and staff training related to mental health and wellness
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations regarding special education

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
  • Knowledge of state and federal education laws and regulations, including IDEA and Section 504
