Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological testing, assessments, and behavioral evaluations in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, Response to Intervention (RTI), and progress monitoring
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs
- Excellent communication, consultation, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to guide student support plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for eligibility determination and program planning
- Provide individual and group counseling for students to address academic, social, and emotional issues
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and outside providers to develop strategies that support students learning and well-being
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and crisis response strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with all state and federal regulations
