Ideal Background & Qualifications:

• Current state licensure and certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience providing psychological services in a K-12 setting
• Comprehensive understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) practices
• Proficient in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and writing detailed reports
• Skilled in counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborating with educators and families
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Knowledge of IEP development and special education processes

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify students learning, behavioral, or emotional needs
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to design targeted interventions
• Participate actively as a member of multidisciplinary teams for IEP meetings and support planning
• Deliver individual and group counseling to help students manage academic, behavioral, and social challenges
• Support school-wide initiatives for positive behavior and mental health awareness
• Provide crisis intervention and contribute to the development of safe learning environments
• Maintain required records and complete documentation accurately and promptly
