Job Description

A school district in the Providence, Rhode Island area is seeking a qualified School Psychologist for a fulltime, schoolbased contract. This position serves K12 students and focuses on assessment, intervention, and collaboration to support academic achievement and socialemotional development. Candidates who are collaborative, detailoriented, and committed to student success are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, cognitive, and socialemotional functioning
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, compliant written evaluation reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and studentcentered learning environment


Qualifications

  • Active School Psychologist licensure in Rhode Island
  • Ability to pass background checks, fingerprinting, and district clearances
  • Prior experience preferred

Compensation for this position ranges from $45.50 to $65.50. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
