Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or related field)
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Strong ability to interpret data and create actionable recommendations
- Excellent skills in collaboration, consultation, and communication with students, staff, and families
- Proven experience developing and implementing behavioral interventions
- A commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
- Develop and interpret Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and families regarding interventions, accommodations, and classroom strategies
- Deliver counseling and guidance services to students individually or in groups
- Participate actively in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and data-driven decision making
- Contribute to crisis intervention, prevention programs, and mental health awareness initiatives on campus
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, adhering to all district and state regulations
