Job Description

This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work with elementary, middle, or high school students in a dynamic environment near Prince Frederick, MD. Specializing in evaluations and assessments, youll play a vital role in fostering students academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification or eligibility for School Psychologist credential
  • Strong background in psycho-educational assessments and report writing
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience supporting students across various grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students cognitive, academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
  • Deliver counseling and consultation services to address students social-emotional well-being
  • Participate in RTI/MTSS processes to support early intervention and promote student success
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to families, educators, and administrators
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making and advocate for student needs within the school community
