Step into a pivotal contract opportunity supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites, providing vital psychological services as part of a collaborative team. This role is part-time (29 hours per week) and primarily on-site, with potential flexibility for some hybrid work. The engagement starts with a few professional development days on July 27, 2026, and continues through May 24, 2027. Immediate interviews will begin as soon as July 22, so timely applications are encouraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations.
• Clearly communicate assessment results and recommendations to parents, educators, and school personnel.
• Prepare and submit detailed written reports within established timelines in compliance with IDEA and district policies.
• Act as a liaison and resource, connecting students and their families with community supports when needed.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with school staff to implement effective educational and behavioral interventions.
• Participate actively in in-service training and explain assessment procedures to all stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate and organized case records to ensure program continuity and accountability.
• Collaborate in planning and interpreting assessment data to guide appropriate educational programming and services.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) certification in School Psychology.
• Proven success in conducting K-12 psychoeducational evaluations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in special education eligibility criteria and IDEA compliance processes.
• Strong data interpretation and report-writing skills; able to present complex findings in accessible language.
• Effective communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
• Experience supporting culturally and linguistically diverse populations; bilingual candidates are encouraged.
