Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from PreK through 8th grade as a school psychologist. This role focuses on providing essential psychological services at an elementary school, helping young learners thrive both academically and emotionally. The assignment runs from June 1st to July 16th, with a convenient part-time schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Department of Education (LA DOE) School Psychologist license
- Experience working in PreK-8 educational settings preferred
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt strategies to meet student needs
- Strong communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
- Completion of district background check and fingerprinting required prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop individualized recommendations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to IEPs and intervention planning
- Provide direct counseling and consultative support as needed
- Maintain accurate, confidential records for assigned caseload
