Step into a dynamic contract role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist providing medical leave coverage from August 19th through October 16th, 2026. Youll work up to 37.5 hours per week, partnering closely with educators and families to foster positive student outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact during a vital time in the school yearall through a virtual interview and onboarding process for a smooth start.
What Youll Bring:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist license
- Experience or strong interest in working with diverse K-12 populations
- Familiarity with multi-tiered support systems, evaluations, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- Strong understanding of best practices in school psychology, including assessments and intervention planning
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered work
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations, behavior interventions, and consultative support for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to develop and review IEPs and student plans
- Offer crisis intervention and recommendations for appropriate supports as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with applicable laws and district policies
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to staff and families
- Transition smoothly into coverage, following established protocols and timelines to meet critical needs
